If they come to my office, then they can check the document for free provided they are they Montreal cops or the RCMP. But if they are the FBI or non Canadian cops, I don't see why I shouldn't charge them a fee. It will cost me money to check with my lawyer if the warrent is legit in Canada and to send them the document. Why should I pay these costs?
