keep in mind when they bust houses, they exaggerate it so it looks better for headlines..

for example if they bust a grow op, they take the entire plant and dirt, WET and plop it on the scale so they can say 100 pounds of marijuana found in a grow-op.... when in reality it was 100 pounds... but only maybe 3-4 pounds of actual dried weed... and when they give the dollar ammount.. they take the 100 pounds , and do 100 x 16 x 28 x 10 = 448,000 dollars worth of weed... when in reality it would be 3 x 1700 = 5100 worth of weed... they don't use the actual bulk street price.. the price they use is if all that meth was sold for 20 bucks a point... instead of like 15 grand a keg
