Federal Law Enforcement Crackdown on Adult Webmasters?!?

I hate to sound like I am part of the tinfoil hat lobby, but have any of you looked at Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' most recent round-up?

Operation FALCON: Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally
(heads-up, its a DOJ site!)

From their press release...

WASHINGTON, DC ? Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales and Ben Reyna, Director of the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), today announced that the USMS, working closely with its federal, state and local partners, has successfully completed the largest fugitive apprehension operation in American history. Through Operation FALCON (?Federal And Local Cops Organized Nationally?), which was conducted April 4?10, 2005, Deputy U.S. Marshals and their law enforcement partners arrested a total of 10,340 fugitives and cleared more than 13,800 felony warrants.

BUT...

Going from the media reports...

http://www.kaimin.org/viewarticle.php?id=4331

The operation spanned 94 U.S. Marshals districts and nabbed 10,340 people. One hundred and sixty two were wanted for murder, 638 had outstanding arrest warrants for armed robbery and 553 were wanted for rape or sexual assault.

What happened to the other 8700+ subjects arrested, what were they arrested for, was this a dress rehearsal for something else?
