For a second there the searches were BLAZING fast. I was thinking they finally had a db specialist come in and hook everything up properly (and by that I mean hardware/software/db). We will very soon. Things take time to implement. the same people that fixed the problem then are fixing the problem now.
I understand that search being down is impacting users worse than the perceived impact of an image verification system. The question we ask ourselves is the following....
"Do we want to use valuable resources to take a step backwards, to have to go back afterwards and fix the fix?"
The anwer we have made is no.
