The most important thing is to REALLY understand what is it that you feel in your eye, because that's the only way the doctor is going to know. There's a huge different between scratchy eyes vs. foreign body sensation, or and Blurred vision vs. Degraded vision. Only you know. I used to keep a log of everything I ate, drank, when I woke up, when I felt what, etc.

EDIT: I saw that you live in Miami so I guess you don't need air humidifier (which helps at nights for those who suffer from chronic dry eyes) LOL
It started in L.A. and im now in south florida

doctors said it wasnt an allergy

Dry eye feeling
Sandy eye feeling
Scratchy eye feeling
Excessive tearing
Eye pain
Redness of the eye

sometimes ill be woken up in the middle of the night by it.

it feels as if someone is scratching the hell out of my eye, like something is actually in my eye and when i close my eye its gets worse. very painful
