If I had a daughter, I wouldn't want her dating any dude, as being one, I know how they think.
In regard to preference on who she dated if I had to let her, I'd probably be more inclined to accept her seeing a caucasian guy than any other nationality. However, this all comes down to the type of person they are -- if it's a choice between a trashy, trailer park white guy and a decent, honest black dude -- then the black dude.
If both are decent, honest people, I'd personally prefer the white guy just because I'm white (commonality makes associations simpler, I guess). However, in that case, I'd ultimately be happy with who she was happiest with.
