Hey..

I have had major problems with sleep, anyways I had to see a specialist about it and this is what I had to do:

1. don't do anything in your bedroom except sleep or sex.. like no TV, working etc
2. get exercise at least 5 hours before bed...
3. don't eat heavy late, no caffeine after 5 pm
4. eat a lite carb snack before bed, like a small peice of toast.
5. the most important: go to bed the same time every night. get up the same time every day. if you cannot sleep after roughly 15 min get up and do something BORING like read a book thats not exciting. or watch an informerrcial, but not in your bed.
or do crosswords thats what i did. When you feel a bit tired, try again..

trust me after doing this for a week my body was forced to adapt and wanted to sleep at the set time. I chose 2 am for going to bed and 10 am for waking up.. now it varies a bit but its a LOT easier...

Just make sure that no matter when you went to bed, you get up and stay up the same time every day... you will beat the insomnia..! your body will just be like ok FUCK i get it.

I took a sleep pill for a while before I did that, only 3 weeks..and when I stopped I could not sleep for FOUR DAYS which scared the crap out of me. It was horrible.. like, really really bad. Stay away from that stuff for real.. !!

this may seem totally stupid and awful but seriously, watching a horror movie or drinking before bed will make things much worse, so will staying up till 4 am and then sleeping till 2 pm. because that is just a messed up way to live!
