Moderately strong = weak, when compared to very strong. Everything is relative, after all. Considerable time cleaning in your kitchen != considerable time cleaning your kitchen (I am, however, assuming your coffee machine is in your kitchen - I could be wrong about that). You coffee machine doesn't keep itself immaculately clean, does it?
I think it's your reading comprehension that needs improving
(also, the two points you conceded, calculating the cost of your coffee per cup and covering things with cellophane for extra freshness, pretty much make you a metro already
