far from it... nintendo 64 made consoles change their control pads and add analog sticks not to mention mario 64 made platformers into 3d environments... just because the nintendo doesn't sell well as the psx or xbox in the western markets in the east they are competitive with sony and the xbox hardly sells... also the ds is outselling the psp...
