Well my sport is basbeball but it is hard to really follow it from this distance. It is on tv once, sometimes twice a week but in the middle of the night and never a team I care about. They are always west coast teams because of the time difference. Which is great for those people but not for Philly gals like me.

I played footie when I was a kid and my sister is just plain awesome at it (coaches now but was very good at school). It wasn't until i moved to Europe that I saw just how it dominates so much of the life outside of USA. I can't even say North America cause Mexico is footie mad too. I truly love it now and whats more I love knock out competions in general. So, the world cup is the perfect combo for me.
