some of you will remember Maude -- it was on CBS and was a Norman Lear spin-off show from All in the Family, just like the Jeffersons. Well, Maude (played by Bea Arthur) was Edith's cousin, who provided a more "substantive" liberal counterpoint to Archie's Arch-Conservatavism than Stivick could.
Anyway, the point is -- Ultra-Liberal Maude has an equally liberated divorcee daughter, Carol -- played by (OMFG) Adrienne Barbeau. For those of you who haven't met her, I'll let Adrienne speak for herself...
