i got my wifes for $1400
then later we found out from her mom that one of the baggets (sp?) that lined the sides of the ring was some sort of rare russian diamond that had a value alone of $1500....
the ring is platinum, so it won't depreciate much in value, which is good
we plan on eventually getting our rings tattooed on our fingers...something we have wanted to do for a while
