Look at NASCAR, in all motorsports worldwide they score the winners 10-6-4-3-2-1 or something, with ten championship points for a win, in NASCAR you get like 1000 points for winning a race so the championship standings are always 3456 to 4354 to 6546 to 3245 and it's wildy popular, yet mindnumbingly boring...
