Ok, let me start off by saying that anyone who can, has the right to overthrow oppressive regimes. After such an oppressive regime has been overthrown, a democracy will allow the people of the country to decide for themselves how they want to live.

I just pointed out the difference. Read it.

And again, it is none of the US business....
If they want a religious government, a democracy will allow them to install one. However, stopping the country from becoming a religious tyranny through the force of a violent minority is a good thing.
You see, that gives those in the country who can't fight for themselves a voice in the development of the country.

Now the US are staying.... WHY ?
The US are staying to ensure that the country gets a chance to rebuild, that no civil war breaks out and that violent groups do not take over the country by force. Do you consider those bad things?

Oh, by the way, your analogy in no way corresponds to the actual situation.
