I want to first and foremost thank all you guys who have posted accolades, best wishes, prayers and more.
I truly feel humbled, respected and loved. - and that is not always easy for a boneheaded, steadfast character like myself.
Once again, I thank you all!!
Thanks to all who helped turn my room into a floral/gift shop... I was quite the envy of the entire hospital.
This entire event was quite the eye-opener... I consider/pride myself on being sorta of a Neanderthol physically... I have a caveman look, attitude and way about myself that is known by many of you. I have always prided myself on rough-exterior, warm-interior... I think many of you know just the traits that I am speaking of here...
I had no physical symptoms prior to Last Sunday..
I was out attempting to set 2 Lap oval records with my Radio Controlled Race Boats... I had a great day goin... and had one run where I was .017secs off the brand new national record... I went to refill my boat with gas and take a pee and that is when the shit hit the fan
I peed a pint of what seemed solid blood.... just about passsed out at the sight and must turned casper-ghost white... welp.. my boating friends sat me down.. packed up my trailer and escorted me home... and off to emergency room we went.. after testing... proding... xrays.. and 2 cat scans.... the doc comes in and tells me there is a growth inside my right kidney... a lil bigger than a golf ball.. and it looks like cancer...and they are gonna have to take the kidney out.
Now I about shit.... as I have never been in hospital other than tonsils.. a football injury back in school and a nearly fatal auto wreck about 15 yrs ago...
They removed my kidney on wednesday.. and when I awoke from surgery .... my left leg was asleep, numb, and non controlled... I guess a nerver got pinched whilst I was on table... So a couple days of dealing with tests around the leg...and gettting it working again surmounted. I was able to stand up on wed... after surgery but could not walk.
My persistance to walk kept the hospital staff on their toes.. they kept finding me in the hallways...
I was discharged on Sunday... after raising hell.... with all the hotty nurses (even got a couple of phone numbers... ) and well... it was just time to get away from that place... that place is for sick people... and although I am sick in da head.... I dont belong in there...
I am home... resting..and will be online this week some....
then back to the CECash offices to raise cane there!!!
