I don't think that's a fact and applies to all. Ever heard of the saying "behind a man's great success is a woman"? I agree with that. It's a personal choice and a fulfillment to some. It's not about gaining or losing at the end or you shouldn't get married after all. If you think that years from now she's going to walk away with half of your assets, then you probably fucked up and ended up with the wrong woman.
