I totally disagree. They may be cheap in price ($200 or so) but they do nothing positive to help grow your sites that the gift winner promotes. The "value" of the game console is $0. The price may be cheap but the actual marketing/advertising value is in the negative. A bad gift idea as far as I'm concerned.

That same $200 can be used to purchase a really nice DVD Burner or maybe a new hard drive. For $300 you can get a really nice flat screen monitor setup. They would be more inclined to stay on their computers and get more work done.

If you buy someone an X-box or Playstation and they find a game that they like...its instant addiction. Might as well write them off and look for more affiliates to promote your sites.
