I think marriage is a personal choice. I've never really felt the urge to get married, but if I was to have children, I would marry then to make things easier for them. What do I gain by getting married? Well, I have to change my last name, lose my credit rating, inform every credit card/bank/government institution about my new identity, and have people start calling me Mrs. So-and-so. Ugh. But it's worth it if it would make my children's lives easier, and it would. So there. That's my thoughts on the topic.
