the issue isn't about marriage itself, at all. it's about the person you're with. some couples can make it work, and make it work well. most couples simply can't because most people allow "love" (or that chemical addiction, whatever you want to CALL it) to govern their decisions pertaining to the relationship, and ignore logic.
