This is some of the best advice, and nice and condesed.
Lighting from Menard's or whatever (those 1000-1600 watt things) will do nicely, but always try and use natural light/shoot mid-day if possible. You can almost never have enough light. Always easier and better images to dim something, then brighten, contrast, etc.
