I'm not saying Slavery didn't affect Blacks. Of course, it did. I just don't agree with a genetic explanation for any 'differences' between 'races.'

People are a result of their environment and culture/subculture. Even within any 'race' there's a whole range of 'cultures.' Unfortunately, media portrayals of black culture tends to only focus on hip hop and its 'subculture.' Reading Sowell, Williams, McWhorter, one realizes that there's many other other cultures within the African-American community than the one portrayed in mass media/mass market outlets.
