Usually when I crop Thumbs for galleries I use Photoshop. For me I feel it is very time consuming and I was wondering if there is any cropping tool out there just like the one which is implemented at Comus, where I can select a file , draw a rectangle and it saves it automaticly.
I dont need tools that just resize the thumbs to a specific size but such where I can crop body party pr other characteristic elements of the specific picture.

You can do that with photo shop.
Select the crop tool and enter the dimensions into the top tool bar, then just drag, reposition and crop. Just make sure you drag an area larger then you need so it resizes down rather then up.
You could also set up a simple action and hit play on the open file to save, optimize or what ever to a destination folder and revert the source back to the original size and close.
Just depends what you want to do really.
