Basically a ton of people run a small webserver software on their computer. When someone goes to access your site via the nyud.net:8090 link it caches that page on indidividual's webservers and then next time recalls them from the peer-to-peer servers instead of hitting the original domain each time.

So you could advertise your site as domain.nyud.net:8090 and people would get to your site without using your bandwidth each time.

That's the way i understand it anyway.

Interesting concept.
