Greg's a class act and I can only say good things about him.
But, this wasn't HIM who signed up under this account so I don't agree with that decision (IF, all the facts presented are accurate). If it became habitual that all of his "Friends" signed up, then I'd be less sympathetic and understand entirely. I think over one signup, that's a little premature.
If one of my friends asks me for a password to a site, I'll bloody well send them a referral code too, from a BUNCH of sites. That's what we're in the business of doing.
I wouldn't sign up MYSELF using my own, but I'm not gonna throw money out the window either.
There's a chance this person could stay a member for 6 months. OR, cancel after a day. That's the chance we take with every surfer we send to a site.
