You're right, the 'vette is still unique and no matter what year Corvette you have you still look cool driving it.
One of the girls dashed out of the house last week screaming about the new Mustang. I finally got a glimpse and the next day a guy at Starbucks raved about it too.
I remember the original Mustangs when they came out. Back in the '60s and early '70s cars had character. '50s too don't let me count them out.
I've seen some awesome classic cars here in LA. They preserve better I guess. Not as many now as I saw on the road in '99-2000 but still a few.
A car's style and performance and luxuries are what makes a car company. There are designers out there that the big car companies won't even give the time of day even though these designers could turn their company's profits skyward.
When I was a kid we had a toy set called 'Hot Wheels' and they would feature the hottest futuristic and muscle designs and we couldn't wait to grow up and drive.
Cars are all super safe, radar enhanced, air bagged yadda... but the bottom line is when you and your chick are out rollin' do you feel like you're something.
