I doubt he's lying; he seemed professional and knew what he was talking about when I was going through my project with him.

I don't need my project completed ASAP though, so if you did, I can see why it'd be frustrating, though did you send him any money yet or are you just upset from him disappearing?

Yeah he told me the same story last Monday, and I was cool with that. I can understand your friend dying and things going crazy. I told him that and also mentioned a simple message saying hey I wont be around etc would have made a world of difference. He said he understood and agreed a quick message would have really been the right thing to do. But whatever like I said I could understand your friend dying...

But then he promised to make things right and have the project done by the next day. I spoke with him Tuesday he said things are moving along, Im going to run to the deli I'll message you when I get back, and I haven't heard from him since. Nor has he returned any of my icq's. Maybe he died too?

Great resume or not this is NOT how you treat clients. I was no real hurry for the project but two weeks for a 2 day job, and disappearing twice in the process is absolutely ridiculous.
