Here in Latvia, we had a law introduced a while ago banning alcohol sales after 10pm.
Of course, they therefore classified BEER as a FOOD STAPLE and not as an alcohol, so it could still be available 24/7.
Oh.. the comedy of living in a country full of ex-soviet drunks...
And I thought that seeing people carrying around and drinking from 2 liter plastic bottles of beer was odd...
