I often hear the argument. Things like "but it would be liceneced" or "it woulkd be controlled" No it wouldnt. You would still have the same amount of drug sealers selling it. Plus legal places. Plus on top of all that it would would have no social stigma or recourse. All you would end up with is more drugs available to more people earlier.
The very fact that you legalise it, by its very nature, could never meen you could have less of it. By its very nature it meens you can only have more of it

What? You're saying if drugs were legal there would still be drug dealers? Bullshit. Alcohol is legal, where are all the boot leggers? I know, its a real problem. Same thing with cigarettes, where are all the underground cigarette dealers?
Personally I don't think all drugs should be available to anyone at the local drug store. But I do think hardcore drug use should be treated as a health issue and not a criminal issue. The fact that people are spending 10 years in prison for a gram of cocaine is beyond insane. I think if someone is a drug addict they should be able to get the drugs from a doctor under the condition that they get treatment.
As far as marijuana goes there is no reason whatsoever for it to be illegal, none. Alcohol is a hundred times more dangerous than weed, anyone that argues against that needs to be tied down and have a gallon of vodka shoved down their throat.
