I don't like the ads very much, doesn't seem to make the surfer want to buy anything or explain to them why they should join the sponsor. Also the text link is white and blends in with the text, I would make it yellow or red so it can pop against the black background. Try and surf tgp's and look at other people's galleries and study the ones that you think that have good marketing that would make you sign up.
Sometimes I like to look at ads in magazines. Just notice how they format the ads, use different colors and fonts to make certain words stick out, how they use spacing so everything is not a big blob, how they use headlines to capture your attention. All that can be applied to a gallery.
