lol, Georgia folks have a way of rubbing off on ya. I've been here almost 10 years and I find myself using words I never said before I moved here.
buggies... for the life of me, I couldn't figure out why the lady in the store kept saying "buggy"... there wasn't a baby in sight. The only buggy I was familiar with was a baby buggy. I usually say buggy these days... I've gotten some weird looks when I've called them carts... lol.
sacks... I knew of sack races... and a sack of weed... but had never referred to a grocery bag a as a sack... until I moved here.
mash... it has always been push or press for me. Mash is something I do to potatoes. I still don't mash buttons... that one hasn't rubbed off on me yet.
fixin'... was what I did when something broke. I catch myself saying that in place of "getting ready to" sometimes now. My kids say it all the time.

When I visit my family they say I've developed more of a southern drawl, although down here, I don't think I sound southern at all.
