again, i ask why should they give anyone a break for lack of responsibility? don't tell me "because they should". that's not a valid reason.
i am the first person to say

banks and their fees but there is also a thing called responsibility. if it was a bank error, then i can see the reason for the complaint but it wasn't. although it sounded like an honest error on his part, he is still responsible for his mistake.
i dont believe merchants should be charged ridiculous cb fees due to dishonest customers (or any type of customer for that matter) and i don't believe a customer should be railed with ridiculous fees BUT if you are in the wrong, then you are in the wrong. take it like an adult and don't make the mistake again.
