My brother had this happen with bofa
heres what you do. Dont just say " refund them or i close my account "
get a meeting with the bank manager. Explain that you cant afford a $400 loss. Explain it would be in their best interest to toss half the charges ( or something ) and that they would make it back eventually ( because you plan on doing lots of business with them )
Tell them you already have an account with BANK1 and that they have worked with you on this sort of thing before , if they dont work with you , you will have no choice but to find a new bank
