Most of the ones in the porn world were actually men who got breast implants, took hormones and most likely have collegen implants somewhere in their bodies. The term however can be used for both - FTM & MTF.

In essence though, they are transexuals when they remain in between the two genders - they look like the other gender & live like one however they haven't had the genitals changed for whatever reason.
