I remember watching a Jeffersons episode when I was a child...George's dry cleaning competitor said in a tv commercial that if a customer brought in a certain poundage of clothes, he would clean them for free..So George brought in ALL of the clothes from his dry cleaning store and the owner had to clean every last outfit and it saved George thousands of dollars...I never forgot that episode.
It's the same thing here...He found a flaw in your logic and he should be paid.
