A valued member of our Community passed away this evening. There is no pleasant way to announce this, but I know he knew many of the major players personally. He would have wanted his friends to know and remember.

Timothy Gibson, Toronto, Canada, (nic SomeIdiot / IamLazy.com) , passed away today after a brief coma.

Those of you who knew him, may contact me in person for details, as I have been running the business for the past few months in his absence.

Tim was around and help found ICAAN when the internet had just started. He FREAKED out Bell Canada when a routine check turned up the number of phone lines in his Mom's house as he was running a BBS. At that time bell employees had never seen a computer of their own.... let alone some kid who had more modems then they had seen in their life.

Ah how times change. Eh?
