That's kinda what I have.
1 list with all current things and 1 pad with a new paper for each project. Once you get to a new project, add it to the current list. If something new comes up that you have forgot, just add it the current list.
I am very forgetful. I can think of one thing and then I look up from the screen and I've forgot it

so that helps me to keep track of everything and not forget about it.
I also have 1 really tiny book that almost always have with me. Sometimes I come up with great ideas when I'm out and about, then it's just to write it down the little book. That way I will never forget any ideas that comes up
