I've never used vaseline, but I have sampled a few lubes for use during anal play with a male partner. I really like the ID stuff, its almost got a powdering feel, not real sticky. The Astroglide I haven't even opened yet, but the Lifestyles Personal Lube with Aloe is nice, it stays pretty wet, isnt tooo sticky, and if you lick it, it doesnt taste half bad, has a pleasant sweet smell. I wouldnt suggest eating it intentionally, but its not an "I HAVE TO RUN TO THE BATHROOM AND WASH MY MOUTH" now reaction, like some lubes... YUCK!
