He had that "religious" Frenzy when Larry Graham (former bassist) joined his band. That scammer convinced him to join Jehova's Witnesses.
On stage, he was preaching but the audience was booing at him so he stopped.
He got rid of Graham and now he's back and sings songs like "Darling Nikky", "Head"... But the guy is 47!!!
Anyway, listen to some bootlegs of his last tour if u can, it's da bomb!!
