Here is the scenario:
Wind speed around 22-26 knots (even though regs were no drops above 12 knots).
Reservist flying the aircraft over flies the DZ but allows green light anyhow.
Most of the stick drops over trees.
I am coming in backwards (wind speed to high to turn).
I am looking around to see if I am going to land in a tree.
I saw that I wasn't going to hit a tree and I slammed in backwards into a high clump of bushes. Inside the bushes was a tree stump. Factured my back and was off duty and jump status for about eight weeks.
