Jonesy, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! Please get me an invite. I haven't been in years! I was heavy into magic years ago, I loved learning how it all worked. Never did any of it though. however I did build some nice flash paper palm shooters, back in my fx days.

Mrs. RedShoe and I went and had a great time, going to all the little mini shows after dinner. I felt bad for one guy. We were walking around in a dark hallway area where they displayed all the old magicians, and this guy got my attention and notioned like he wanted to scare my wife. I'm an asshole and I thought it would be funny, so he kinda lunged out of the darkness, and she got a little scared and all was fine and dandy. We (yes, including Mrs. RedShoe) all had a good laugh.

Well, turns out this guy was a magician. So we go into the close up room a few minutes later and that same guy sits down to do his act. Right off he asks to borrow her diamond bracelet, and then to show that she is a complete stranger and not part of his act, asks "Have we ever met?". And she said, "Yeah, just before the show"

LOL!!!! The look on his face was priceless. Needless to say her bracelet was much to heavy to be levitated. Although he tried for like 3 minutes.

3 minutes of a bracelet, sitting on a green felt table while he "concentrates" to levitate it only to have him say, "the spirits must have the night off" and return her bracelet... is a long, quiet 3 minutes. HAHAHAHA!!! Of that whole night, he's the only one I remember. LOL!! Poor guy.
