It is remotely possible to get herpes from a person that doesn't have an outbreak. But what you don't hear is that you are at greater risk of being in an airline accident then getting herpes from someone that is not showing any symptoms of an outbreak.

And no 25% of the popualtion does NOT have herpes. Please post a link. And Herpes simplex 1 does not count. We are talking GENITAL herpes.
