It's generally said that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. If you wanted to kill yourself who the fuck am I to tell you not to? It's a decision I feel someone is capable to make on their own accord but often made, unfortunately, in haste without weighing out all the variables and impacts you'll have on other people's lives. I tend to agree more with assisted suicide on ones own terms for the purpose of aleviation of pain and to go out in dignity in the presence of loved ones, but again, its not my call to tell people what to or not to do to themselves. That is the ultimate freedom we should have. Control over ourselves. Anything less is a tyranny put in practice by a way to paternalistic or moralistic gov't or other authoritative body imo. It's not the gov'ts job to regulate morality or be my father figure.
