Lighting is key. Always make sure you have the best possible conditions (depending on where you shoot). Midday sun is key in some of the circumstances.
Get yourself some of those construction lights from your local Menards or whatever. They are 1000+ watts, and usually come with a couple of settings.
Make sure you have a digital camera. Camcorders are nice, and all, but you need a good camera for the HQ stills. So make sure you are using a good camera. Vidcaps even under best conditions still blow because models move a lot.
Lighting's the biggest thing in shooting content. Makes an enourmous difference in pic quality. Always better to have too much, vs too little. Otherwise you had better be the master of Photoshop/Premiere because you will spend a lot of time cleaning shit up.
