wow, i know some of you fellas roll in some nice cash, but someone told me today that they pay $22k a year just in property taxes on their home in NY. the house is valued at around 800k and is in a decent neighborhood.

i dont think i could see myself dropping almost 2k a month just on taxes alone. are taxes this bad in some other states as well?
