You could argue a variety of issues here and anyone of them I think would cause a jury to consider whether they want to send a man who was in complete fear of his life 1 second before to jail because he continued to shoot after the guy was down when the law feels as though he should be rational and consider his options and get out.

True, just a big risk, you know how the court system works sometimes, maybe if you have money like OJ for some big time lawyers, you would be fine
I personally would have found that security cam and removed that tape or something.
