Come to think of it, there are several names I've seen used to describe Germans.
The roast beefer Brits used to call Germans "those bloody Jerries"
Some US troops used to call individual German soldiers "Fritz", sometimes "Seigfried"
Damn, now I don't know what to call this new pope.
