I don't think he's the only one... but if you guys actually discussed the issues then these threads would be far more interesting and far less Jerry Springer. I don't suppose you could provide any sources for the claims you made in your last post? Probably not. I don't mean to harp on ya but 80% of what you said was a little silly.
I think the point that isn't being discussed is that the media (whether left or right) is biased in the US and other countries (including Canada) because it provides for the best ratings. They have been pitting good vs evil/right vs wrong for years now and intentionally not discussing issues. Two sides are constantly pitted against but a lot of times the differences between the two aren't that great; they usually end up name calling as well (Crossfire). Are there only ever just two choices?
Also, something else to keep in mind is that every major media outlet is a publicly owned (for profit) entity that has a vested interest in providing shows that will get the highest ratings. The interesting thing is that a big political scandal would be very profitable but no one goes near it. Remember when CBS was going after Bush and his military record? I found it interesting that the focus was on Dan Rather screwing up the story rather than the fact that the core of the story was true. Bush was AWOL and this isn't disputed, well not intelligently anyway. I'm tired. I'm going to bed.
