Naw... I don't buy it. ND is small time compared to the LA producers (companies) who have shot 10x that last year with little or no problems. Unless of course ND is fucking people out of money or something stupid like that.
I think maybe they are legends in their own minds. It's one thing to run a successful business, and props to them for that, but a body guard? Unless you think you are more than what you are, or your fucking people out of money, there is no reason ANY webmaster would need a body guard unless your into some shit or your ego is out of hand.
I know a few movie stars that don't roll with body guards. I doubt the ND crew is in any real danger. I couldn't even point ONE of them out in a webmaster line up, let alone rollin' on the streets.
If they were in Bogota, Colombia, I may buy the kidnapping and extortion story... but not in Florida... with a bunch of web porn guys.
Or maybe they just like to have him along for shits and giggles. Maybe he is just good at shuckin' and jivin' for the filthy rich ND crew and they get their kicks out of watching him fight. But a body guard? Nope.
