We do in fact allow you a 30 day grace period to renew your domain after it expires and before it goes into redemption. Our renewal system is also automated so renewal emails are sent out to all domains that are 45 days from expiration automatically. There may be spam filters or something similar at work here.

[email protected] with "Attention Richard K." in subject line I will personally see what the status of your domain is and help you get it renewed as soon as possible.
