The model above doesn't quite work 100% effectively in the VoD world. Our system supplies the Digital Rights Management to do PPM, PPV, etc. The above system doesn't allow pay-per-view, at least in the sense if it leaves a server to a consumers desktop. As far as our Pay-Per-Minute system goes, it is very intuitive with the handling and configuring of the windows media streaming service. On top of that, it's also wrapped with DRM, counts minutes down to the seconds, and much more. Ours works on the streaming/server end of it, rather than focusing on someones browser. If they are connected to a stream, they are getting deducted. A much more sophisticated way to approach VoD.
